Happy Loving Day

Loving Day is a yearly celebration of the Loving v. Virginia Supreme Court decision that made interracial marriages legal in the US. This is the 41st anniversary and without it, this wouldn't be possible, legally, at least:

Anyway, that photo is from Tuesday...my sister Valerie sang the national anthem at the Redbirds game and she was awesome!

My brother in law Justin, Valerie, and Donnie looking like a used car salesman.

Mike letting Autumn look precarious.

All in all, it was a super fun night! I didn't get photos of them but several people from the al-anon group some of my family goes to made it and so did Penny, Theresa who is a stylist at my mom's salon and her husband, Justin's parents, and, of course, my mom and grandmother. Penny got us some great box seats so we got a break from the heat. Yay for Penny!
