Well Sharaze just called me to let me know how this weeks doctor visit and ultrasound went. And so far, everything's cool!
Autumn is now up to 2 pounds and 11 ounces so she's still about 2 weeks behind the growth scale, but that's no big deal they say. The technician remarked that she's got short legs right now. I'll just go ahead and say that I'm shocked that Autumn would have short little legs! Now where in the world would she have gotten those???
I really wish we had been able to get a video or picture of today's visit because Sharaze said you could see Autumn sucking her thumb! How crazy is that? She said you could see her little cheeks just workin' on that thing! Man, I wish I could have seen it, but noooo!! I have to go to work and be all responsible and stuff. Ah well...
Other than that, things are just rolling right along. The doctor said Sharaze needs to rest a little bit more than she has been, but otherwise both momma and baby are doing fine.
But I think Autumn is getting a little antsy in there because she's been really active lately. Sharaze said Autumn is trying to kick her way out and doing all kinds of rolls and dances. It's pretty cool because now I can really feel her moving and bumping around in there if I put my hand on the belly. It's kinda weird thinking that just a little bit beneath that skin lurks a tiny human being waiting to be unleased on the world...
I can't wait to meet her!!!
