Are You Ready for This? I Don't Think So...

Ok, prepare yourself for some cute:

So.

Much.

Cute!

O_____O I cannot stand so much cuteness. Hahaha. My friend and classmate in assorted martial arts situations Matt drew these from pictures on last week's blog post here and on the other blog. I like them so much I asked Matt to draw something for my preschool class flyers...I'll post that when it's done, too!

In other news, we've had a pretty normal week which is nice. Autumn's pretty schedule oriented so she's glad. We usually have two cleaning mornings where we get the big chores done, like dusting and bathrooms. Straightening and sweeping gets done as needed. One of our cleaning days, Autumn did not want to help. She said, and I quote, "princesses don't clean." I had to laugh buuuuuuuut, that won't fly. I told her about Belle and P'd reminded me about Cinderella and then everything was okay. :)

That was Monday, dusting our room. Friday, her magic wand helped her clean her table in the playroom.

She, of course, posed for a few pictures.

And pretended to take some of me.

While Molly slept in the tent that Autumn and my mom made (I let the tent stay up until just a few minutes ago). Also, I am slowly figuring out how to take photos of kitties and kids in dark tents, haha.

But, don't worry! Little miss had plenty of fun this week. One of my favorite things Autumn's doing is playing doctor. She's been doctoring all of us, including Lulu, the creepy animatronic kitty cat. I try not to think too hard about how she's playing doctor because of how often I've been to the doctor and in the hospital this summer, but I guess it's kind of inevitable. She's having fun with it though so that's good, right?

And that's this week!

I would have never thought you would have such a girlie girl, Sharaze. I imagined you having a one year old that knew how to take someone off their feet if she wanted to. :) She's so cute. Is she a reflection of you? :) he, he. Girlie.

Hmmmm...you hit one of my pet peeves about girlishness and stereotypes, haha. I consider myself girly. What's not girlie about me? I love clothes and shoes, I wear a lot of makeup, I sew, I cook, I'm a mostly stay at home mom.

I am also a martial artist, physically strong, somewhat type A, and straightforward, none of which *aren't* traits women can't have.

Is Autumn a bit foofier than I expected? Totally, haha! But...she's also not so one-dimensional. She likes aikido, can punch as well as any kid I've trained, takes a fall and keeps on going...but I consider those girly traits, too! Either way, Autumn is who she is and if she is the most stereotypical girl in the world or not I hope she always has the freedom to be who she is even if she's not just like her mam (she's actually ridiculously like her papa).

(ps, mike thinks I'm a total dork over this, LOL. But I can't miss a chance to pontificate on my favorite subject.)
